Had the pleasure of taking Retired AF Veteran Joseph and his 8 year old son on a gator hunt last night. Joseph had spent some previous time alligator hunting but never the fast and furious run and gun CFTH airboat method. After a quick ride Joseph shot the first gator and then the goal was to find a gator that his son could shoot with the crossbow with dad’s help (notice in the picture the crossbow is as big as his son).

With wind, a near full moon, and hurricane high water on Lake Hell N’ Blazes it was quite a difficult task but after several attempts we managed to get a 6fter to hold long enough for him to sink a shot.

Success!!! Now Joseph is hooked on airboat hunting.
